Held at Denver’s most scenic private jet hanger, A Night to Take Flight brought to life Von’s passion for private aviation, exotic cars and giving kids the gift of sight. The evening began with a cocktail reception that overlooked a Rocky Mountain sunset, accentuated by live entertainment and signature cocktails designed specifically for this event.
The event featured both virtual and in-person celebrity appearances, including current Broncos Von Miller, Bradley Chubb and Brandon McManus as well as former Broncos Mark Schlereth, Karl Mecklenburg and Ryan Harris.Pre-recorded support videos from Snoop Dogg, Slick Rick and apl.de.app, co-founder of the Black Eyed Peas, were also shown.n all, nearly $300,000 was raised in support of Von’s Vision. This figure excludes a $58,000 donation pledged by Miller himself.
The proceeds from the event went to Von's Vision to support the need of vision correction. Each year, Denver Public Schools have nearly 5,000 incoming low income 1st Graders who have never seen an eye doctor and more than 1,900 of those 1st graders need glasses. Across the entire district, Denver Public Schools has more than 27,000 low-income students who need some level of vision correction. You can help give the gift of sight by clicking the glasses below.
